These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a contract between you and RJS Tech Solutions LLP (“we”, “us”) for use of The Word Search App at thewordsearchapp.com (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is a free-to-play browser word-search game. Features include themed puzzles, a daily challenge, optional Google or Facebook sign-in to save progress, optional coin purchases and an ad-free upgrade, advertising, invites, a puzzle maker, and related pages. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
You must be able to form a binding contract under the laws of India. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with a parent or guardian’s permission. You are responsible for activity on your guest session or linked account. Keep your sign-in secure. We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe is abusive, fraudulent, or in breach of these Terms.
Do not cheat, automate play, or manipulate scores, leaderboards, invites, or purchases. Do not bypass ads, unlocks, or hint costs except through features we provide. We may withhold rewards or reset progress that we reasonably believe was obtained this way.
Coins, hints, unlocks, ad-free status, and similar items have no real-world cash value, are licensed (not sold) for use in the Service, and are not redeemable for money. We may change prices, packs, or earning rates. Unused virtual items may be lost if we discontinue a feature or close an account for breach.
Optional purchases are processed by Stripe. Taxes, currency conversion, and card checks are handled by Stripe and your bank. Except where Indian law or Stripe’s rules require a refund (for example a duplicate charge we confirm), purchases of virtual items are final once credited. If a payment is reversed, we may revoke the corresponding coins or ad-free status.
The free Service is supported by advertising. How ads and analytics work is described in the Privacy Policy. Purchasing ad-free, where offered, removes ads we show in the game; it does not control cookies set by Google or other companies on surrounding pages.
If you create a custom puzzle, you grant us a licence to generate and show that board so you can play it. Do not submit words that are unlawful, infringing, or intended to harass. We may refuse or remove maker content. Theme word lists and boards we publish remain our content.
The Service, including puzzles, artwork, and branding, is owned by RJS Tech Solutions LLP or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial play.
Sign-in (Google, Facebook), payments (Stripe), and advertising or analytics (Google) are provided by those companies under their own terms. We are not responsible for those services going down or changing.
We provide the Service “as is” and “as available”. We may suspend it for maintenance, abuse, legal reasons, or operational issues. Puzzles and scoring may change. We are not liable for lost progress if your device fails, you clear the browser, or a guest session expires.
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for virtual items in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for lost data or profits. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law (including fraud or personal injury caused by negligence).
You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete personal data tied to a signed-in email address, use the form on the Privacy Policy or write to support@thewordsearchapp.com. We email that address to confirm it is yours; after you confirm, we erase matching account and gameplay records. Virtual items on a deleted account are forfeited. We may retain records we are legally required to keep.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of the Service or these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after the update date means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and request deletion of your account.
