SAVANNAH /ˈsævənə/ · noun

A tropical or subtropical region of grassland with scattered trees, typically found in Africa and Australia. A savannah is characterized by a mixture of grasses and open woodlands. Related: grassland, prairie, steppe, tundra.

MACON /mækən/ · noun

A city in the U.S. state of Georgia, and the county seat of Bibb County. It is also the name of a French commune in the Charente department. Related: city, town, village, borough.
