- GOLDEN /ˈɡɒldən/ · adjective
- Having a bright yellow color, like gold; extremely good or excellent. Related: golden, gilded, aurous, brassy.
- EUREKA /juːˈriːkə/ · exclamation; also noun
- Used as a triumphant exclamation upon discovering or solving something: 'I have found it!' As a noun, it refers to such an exclamation of sudden discovery.
- POPPY /ˈpɒpi/ · noun
- A flowering plant with showy flowers, often cultivated for its beauty or used as a symbol. A poppy is also a type of seed pod that produces a small, delicate flower. Related: marigold, daisy, sunflower, lily.
- QUAIL /kwɑɪl/ · noun
- A small, ground-dwelling bird with a short tail and a rounded body, typically having a brown or gray plumage. Quails are often hunted for sport or food. Related: plover, grouse, partridge, pheasant.
