- In Greek mythology, Hades was the god of the underworld, ruler of the dead, and brother of Zeus and Poseidon. In modern usage, Hades can refer to a place of darkness or a state of being. Related: underworld, hell, abyss, void.
- APOLLO /əˈpɒl.oʊ/ · noun
- Apollo is the ancient Greek and Roman god of music, poetry, prophecy, healing, and light, one of the twelve Olympians. The name is also used for NASA's Apollo program, the series of crewed lunar missions that landed humans on the Moon between 1968 and 1972.
