- In cricket, a type of stroke in which the ball is struck full pitch, with the bat following through little or not at all. The term is also used as a surname and given name.
- SALMON /ˈsæmən/ · noun and adjective
- Salmon names any of various fishes of the salmon family, including species that migrate from the sea into freshwater to spawn. It can also denote a pinkish-orange color or describe something of that color. Related: pink, coral pink.
- STURGEON /ˈstɜːrdʒən/ · noun
- A large, elongated cartilaginous fish with rows of bony plates along its body and a distinctive pointed snout. Its roe is highly valued as caviar.
