- GORILLA /ˈɡɒrɪlə/ · noun
- A large, powerful primate native to Africa, characterized by a broad chest, strong arms, and a distinctive facial structure. Gorillas are one of the closest relatives of humans. Related: ape, monkey, primate, simian.
- ELEPHANT /ˈɛlɪfənt/ · noun
- A very large herbivorous mammal of the family Elephantidae, with a long trunk, tusks, and large ears, native to Africa and southern Asia.
- LEOPARD /ˈlɛpərd/ · noun
- A large, carnivorous feline mammal with a yellow or golden coat and black spots, native to Africa and Asia. Leopards are known for their agility and stealth. Related: panther, cheetah, jaguar, lynx.
- ZEBRA /ziːbrə/ · noun
