- A large wild bovine mammal with a massive head, shoulder hump, and shaggy coat; specifically the American bison of North America or the closely related European bison (wisent). Related: buffalo, wisent.
- HORN /hɔrn/ · noun, verb
- A hard pointed projection on the head of certain animals, such as cattle or sheep, used for defense or attack. To produce a loud, high-pitched sound, typically with the mouth or a musical instrument. Related: antler, tusk, prong, spike.
